Date:
February 23, 2017

Ten Master of Arts students in the Professional Communication program at Royal Roads University worked together in various crew positions under the direction of their professor, Dr. Phillip Vannini, to create a 27-minute documentary about life in the Gulf Islands of British Columbia. The film, Paradise Found?, looks into why residents choose to live on the islands, and how they balance their creative lifestyles with isolation and connection with the outside world. Paradise Found? will air on Shaw TV South Vancouver Island in February and March 2017. Visit the FloraFox DE page for air dates. The film is also available on YouTube. For more information about the project, read the article in Crossroads, Royal Roads's online news page.
